CH.1 첫인사와 끝인사


첫인사
Dear ~께/~귀하/~에게

Dear은 사적인 서신 뿐만 아니라 업무상 보내는 E-mail에서도 가장 선호되는 표현입니다.
영국 영어에서는 이름 다음 콤마(,)를 사용하지만, 미국 영어에서는 이름 다음 콤마나 세미콜론(;)을 사용합니다.

격식을 필요로 하지않는 이메일인 경우, dear의 사용은 점차 줄어들고 hi 나 hello 로 대체되고 있는 추세라고 합니다

ⓐ 업무상, 단수 또는 다수의 수신자에게 보낼 때 가장 일반적으로 사용되는 표현으로는
Dear all,
Dear Cyong,
Dear Mr.Lee,
등이 있습니다.

ⓑ E-mail을 받는 사람이 누구인지 모를 때는
Dear Sir / Madam
To Whom It May Concern
등이 있습니다.

ⓒ E-mail을 받는 사람의 직책이나 사업상의 관계를 호칭으로 사용할 때는

Dear Marketing Manager,

Dear Customers, 
등이 있습니다.

끝인사 
Sincerely ~로 부터 / ~드림 / 안녕히계세요

끝인사의 표현은 형식적인 표현이므로 해석은 불필요하다고 합니다.

보통 업무상 이메일에서는 Sincerely yours를 쓴 후 송신인의 이름 및 연락처를 기재하는 형식이 가장 일반적임. 
예)
Sincerely,

근무처 & 직급, 직책
연락처 - 이메일. 전화번호. 회사주소 등

ⓐ 업무상 이메일의 끝맺음말로 사용할 수 있는 일반적인 표현
Sincerely / Sincerely yours,

ⓑ 수신자를 익명으로 시작하였거나 부서 자체가 수신인인 경우
Yours faithfully

ⓒ 격식을 차리지 않는 사적인 이메일을 사용될 수 있는 표현

ⓓ 직장 동료와 친구 모두를 대상으로 사용할 수 있은 표현

CH.2 자기 소개 및 서론 작성

자기 소개 

메일을 시작할 때 본인 소개부터 시작을 하는 데요, 자신을 소개하는 표현에 대해 알아보도록 하겠습니다.

저는 ~ 입니다.
I am ~ / My name is ~ 저는 ~ 입니다.
I work for (at) ~ 저는 ~에서 일하고 있습니다.
I work as ~ 저는 ~로서 일하고 있습니다.

위 표현을 합치면,

으로 표현 할 수 있겠네요

work for 와 work at, work in 은 혼용이 가능하나, 
work for의 경우 어떠한 단체에서 일한다라고 표현하고자 할 때 주로 쓰이고
work at은 어디(위치)에서 일한다를 표현하고자 할 때 주로 쓰입니다.
work in은 어느 분야에서 일한다를 표현하고자 할 때 주로 쓰입니다.

서론
E-mail 발송의 본론에 들어가기 전에, 메일을 보낸 이유나 목적에 대해서 분명히 밝히는 것이 좋습니다.
모든 일이 기본이 예의인 만큼 밝고 긍적적으로 친근한 어조로 공손하게 작성할 수 있도록 신경씁시다

CH.8 이메일 또는 텍스트 메세지에 자주 사용하는 약어


약어
이메일을 주고 받다보면 친한 사이인 경우에는 종종 약어를 쓰곤 합니다.
갑작스럽게 약어를 받아보고 당황하지 않으려면 약어도 약간은 알아두면 좋을 것 같습니다.

가깝고 친한 상대에게 사용하는 약어에는 다음과 같은 표현들이 있습니다.

AKA : Also known as
ASAP : As soon as possible
B4 : Before
BRB : Be right back
BBL : Be bad later
